Did you them down yet??? Come on..give yourself some kudos!

In the last blog entry we discussed the first step in making 2018 the best year ever which was.....write down all your 2017 accomplishments. So, did you write down all your 2017 accomplishments yet? Why is this so critical? Here are 3 key reasons:

You’ve accomplished Quite a Bit

Take some time to write down all your accomplishments at work, at home and any other areas. Perhaps some were your 2017 goals but probably most popped up during the year. Did you take on a project? Did you learn a new skill? Did you help someone in need? It’s important to not only recall these accomplishments but write them down. You will be amazed at the list so give yourself kudos.

The Feeling Builds Momentum

The feeling of accomplishment is infectious and carries us into the next year! When we are able to see all these amazing accomplishments and we gain more confidence that we can do it again. If we have that little nagging friend of self doubt mind chatter, we can look back on our 2017 list and KNOW we can accomplish anything and once again have the feeling of accomplishment. The feeling is what we want to keep us going forward.

Wow, how was I able to accomplish that?

When we write down and reflect, there are probably a few accomplishments that blew our minds on how we were able to do it.  When you go down memory lane on how you really did get through it, write down your process or steps because most likely a surprise goal will be in store for 2018. Again, this builds momentum, confidence and the ability to handle surprises in the future.

So get yourself pumped up and make 2018 the best year ever!
